ME1 audio issue - dialog & sfx in surrounds instead of center

Mass Effect 1 dialog and sfx audio is coming from the rear/surround speakers instead of the center channel, meaning that conversations, weapons fire etc are all coming from behind the player instead...

Same problem here. Although only on certain sound devices:

I have a SteelSeries Arcits Pro + GameDAC and on the "Game" channel some dialogues in ME2 come in the rear channel, but on the "Chat" channel they work fine.

My speaker is a Logitech z625 and I don't hear he problem there, but it's just a 2.1, so now I'm not sure...

Also experiecning the Firewalker sound bug on all devices... ☹️
