@EA_David: The ME1 surround sound bug has been an issue ever since ME1 originally launched back in '07. The problem lies with the OpenAL.dll file included with ME1. This issue has been reported extensively across multiple forums including Reddit, Steam, & others. Despite this, the issue persists & has even been mentioned here on these forums multiple times. Yet EA has yet to provide a fix, let alone any acknowledgement that said issue exists. Beyond ridiculous & totally unacceptable period.
Tick tock EA. I also put my playthrough on hold since launch and I'm still waiting for something... ANYTHING...
