OK, this is a connection issue.
The password and email in game could be case sensitive.
Restart your router.
If that not helps, shut down your Windows firewall and disable the real-time scanner of your antivirus software. (just for testing purpose, don't forget to activate the firewall and the antivirus software later on.)

I've already tried turning off both the firewall and antivirus, didn't work. Anyway, thanks for your help but I'll avoid playing this for now and get the trilogy version on another pc someday.
