@CitizenOfWhat The modders are working on a community patch for ME2 LE as they already did with both the first and third games lucky for you, you will likely be able to download both of them from Nexus (and they have support there not from EA as those are fan works).
I will see if the Modding community is working on fixes for this issue or if you can get it resolved using the suggestion by the MOD team here, which is a players helping players forum. Console players have been asking if there will be a New Patch but nada so far.
