ME3 Bonus Powers gone (PS4)

Hello! I've been playing and enjoying MELE a lot. However, about a month or two ago, I was playing ME3 and doing the Omega DLC. The game crashed and said my save data had been corrupted, so I went back in and loaded a different save and was back into the action. Fast forward to today, I'm right before the end of the game, and I wanted to change my bonus power for the last DLC and most of them are gone. Dominate, Energy Drain, Carnage, etc. Those are just some of the powers I know are gone. When I load previous saves to try and get them again, I just get +reputation and not the power.

The only reason I know these two problems are connected, is because I'm not alone. I saw a few comments on a reddit thread saying the same thing.

Any guidance on how to fix this?

Hey, I randomly started a new character in me1 in the legendary ps4 edition and you get to choose a bonus power when starting a new character, saved that game for later and went back onto my main character in me3, I thought I'd check to see if anything had changed with the bonus powers and there all available to my main character again.

So hopefully that works for everyone else that encounters this problem in the future.

  • 5 months on and this is STILL an issue. Most of my bonus powers are still gone. 2/3 of them actually. Also when I reload old saves, they don't unlock. So it's definitely a glitch. Should I just permanently delete my old saves? 😞

Same thing has happened to me. Game glitched out, said there was a corrupted save file, I was on the racni mission in me3, went to change bonus power from flare to something else after that mission and there were none there to chose from, tried resetting powers in the med bay but that didn't work either. Haven't tried going to an earlier save as I don't save that frequently.

  • The only fix I found was to fully delete ME3, all my ME3 saves, and the saves backed up thru PS+.
Basically you have to have a fresh install to fix. It worked for me, but I got burned out before I got all the powers back. I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer.
