Missing Helmet and silver orb from ME2

In Mass Effect 2, you pick up Shepard's Helmet from the wreckage of the SR-1 and a Silver orb from a planet you were exploring. But in Mass effect 3 there are no where to be found on the ship what happen to them, also i noticed a empty picture frame on the desk. Why are the no pictures in them, the same thing can found in Anderson's apartment, no pictures in the picture frames what gives. Thanks
