People thought the same about deus ex. Look how that turned out. The DLC was a slap to the face, microtransactions tacked on at the last second, a minigame that no one wanted, and a half finished story.

Thats what MEA is getting right now. Minus the DLC that we do want. MP is going to be worked on so they can keep sucking more money from the game for as long as possible, while the rest is ditched save a couple of patches.
