Thanks for you time pointing things out.
For the turians, I also got that blank, clear feeling about them. They seem also the same model with tinkering here and there and different armor, but their faces are flat alright. Regarding knees and things of that gender, I'm not really too good at biology. Regardless, we feel an instintictive disturbance at seeing them bent like that all the time: I have a very rigid workout agenda, and I do take good care of my knees while at it.
The angara look like colorful patchwork. I don't feel like they have depth about their visuals, so they do feel very mainstream. To be frank, they disappointed me, but nothing really which I could bring up as an issue.
Krogan are ... probably the thing with the eye did bother, but not in a conscious way. I have the feeling Drack is never looking at us. He seems dispersed. That would never be the case when talking to Grunt or Wrex. And I think that's part of the overall problem the designing team had when dealing with eyes motion. All interaction make characters feel like looking over your eyebrows, or your ears, over you shoulders, not to mention potential, and completely random, cases of nystagmus. They feel the less flat and bland, due their textures and crevices and shape. But they are still not unique. Like the asari, but the asari don't have armor and crevices to help disguising their model as being the same.
Salarians: the eyes, Yes, although I haven't noticed the blinking thing, the pupils were there and I thought strange. More to them that bothered me was the stillness about them, aside the speed of their speech, they are behaving too calmly all the time.
Well, that's what I can talk about that at the moment.
