Ontarom bug: Legendary Edition

Question

Running ME1: Legendary Edition, and get stuck in infinite loading screen each time I try to land on Ontarom for one of the side missions. I see the Normandy endlessly flying with occasional audio static pops, and can never land. I can't turn off the game at that point and am forced to restart my PC.

Solutions?
