Are there any plans to add the ability to pause the game during dialog or cutscenes? I'm playing on Xbox Series X, and I can't find any way to pause it during those moments. Pressing the start or select button doesn't do it, nor does pressing the Home button. I've even heard that the game doesn't pause when the batteries in the controller die. This is fairly annoying for a game released in 2021, can a patch be added to provide this feature?
this was never part of the game. it only stops at next answer selection wheel. And I think you are able to skip cutscenes.
Buy a spare pack of bateries or just play on cable...

Not sure if they added this later because I just started, but now you CAN pause. turning off/taking out the batteries in your controller will pause the cutscenes at the end of the line they're currently on. Hope this helps someone!!
How to unpause, it's not working I can't unpause I don't know how to unpause

Currently, you are able to pause the entire game during a cutscene. You should also be able to skip cutscenes.
We don't have any information if this will change but we love to see feedback on how we can consider improving the game you love.I command Shepard and this is my favorite thread on the forums!

During a player leaving cutscene my controller died and the cutscene paused, plugged in my controller and hit A to say that I’m signed in with my controller but I can’t unpause the cutscene? No button works whatsoever…
