[PC] Mass Effect Andromeda Freezes After Launch

Question

I currently have directx 12 on my computer. I launched mass effect andromeda and attempted to customize my character. However, the screen kept freezing. I decided to start the game without customizing the character. However, during on of the cut scenes, the game crash. It says the crash was caused by not having directx 11 installed as there is some sort of compatibility issue with directx 12. How to I switch to directx 11?

Mass Effect Andromeda is a DirectX 11 game. DirectX itself is backwards compatible, so a DirectX 12 system can always run DirectX 11 games.

Please provide a screenshot of the error message and a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.&nbsp;
