Random Temporary Freezing

Today was the first day in a while since I've played Mass Effect 3, I downloaded Omega and the Alt. Appearance pack and when I launched, my game began to freeze and then unfreeze a few seconds afterwards. Now it isn't causing my game to crash but it is becoming annoying and is starting to ruin my experience, it happens whenever and is quite frequent, it's not here or there, the freezing happens a minute apart at best. It's mainly annoying because it happens during conversations and when it happens, it leads to some conversations becoming unsynced.

Now what have I tried:

- I've tried to lower my settings, it didn't help that much

- I've tried restarting my computer to see if it fixes the issue, it does not.

- I've disabled the Origin ingame interface, no luck there either.

I've tried a lot of things but it doesn't seem to be working, the game was working fine when I played it a while with no temp freezing at all, it's only today it started for me.
