Re: Are the rumors actually true about Miranda?

Exactly. They're not changing anything because it's too sexy for 2021 (let me remind everyone that this is a game series where characters shower with their clothes on). They're changing things because the scenes don't get the desired reaction.

Just look at Fraser's reaction to the introduction to one of the villains of Mass Effect. It's supposed to be a serious scene, but the framing is inconsistent with the tone of the scene (timestamp 15:46):

Now look at Fraser's reaction during the scene everyone's talking about (timestamp 6:30):

I can't imagine that the developer's were intending for those scenes to be laughed at, but that's what people did, because the framing is hilariously poorly done. It's the same with people laughing at that bug in Cyberpunk where characters' genitals clip out of their pants. It's bad work and needs to be fixed.

@Fred_vdp Good references. Wow 2012 what a blast from the past. Although I can't understand how that could have possibly not been deliberate it looks so obvious to me that those shots were intentional. I enjoyed those clips seeing everyone having a good time over it lol. I felt that a nice bit of sex appeal and a few laughs was welcome and it did not feel like it was bad work. Let's be honest if the whole game was constantly following the girls * and butts around I'm pretty sure it would have been another story LOL

They should still keep it in a good remaster keeps the strengths and flaws from original game just up the gameplay, AI (if needed), graphics and lighting etc it was a good game but fa from perfect and removing some of the original flaws takes away some of the charm.

is this really the biggest issue with the original games? they said that they made ME1,2 to be more like ME3 that don't sound like a good remaster they should have made ME1,2,3 look more like Cyberpunk because those characters felt and looked alive compared to ME1,2,3 and Miss "my face is tired" from Andromeda in terms of graphics and textures ME3 is already dated as hell i mean for Christ sake if they would bump it up to Andromeda it would still be dated. and what were they doing to ME3 upped graphics and textures and camera angles nothing more? : /

They also said they couldn't do much to animations without reworking to much so it will be near original animations wtf did they really work on then?

i don't know if it was lack of funding or time but this seems like a quick and easy cash grab to me they could have upped the animations fixed ME3 ending a tiny bit and done so much more but they didn't
  • @Naala Well we know they are working on censorship to bring the game up to "modern times" (which is not a conspiracy theory). I just wish they had left it be and just focused on the fidelity/new content so we can enjoy the same trilogy that we heavily invested in and were willing to reinvest again.

  • @Sky2k5

Oh god YES! i mean in the DLC list Pinnacle station isnt even mentioned at all but yeah 100% agree with you didnt need to be a whole lot more content but im sure they had some cut things laying around they could fixed up i for one would have LOVED some more missions with my beloved Kasumi in my opinion best char

well you know all forms of Political correctness is a form of censorship which is a topic i could talk about for ages its a shame how it works i mean there was so much nudity in Cyberpunk full blown naked bouncy thingies and all and i didnt see much critique about that.

  • @Naala Ah yeah >.< totally!!! About cyberpunk half of it is full junk customizability so it helped distract "they them" from the concept of male and female as its just a free for all, and secondly I think CDPR went and told everyone where to shove it cos they wanted to make the game they wanted to make (respect). Back in the day Bioware made the game they wanted to make and fought for it with the media rightfully so. Donno why they are backtracking now....
  • @Sky2k5yeah this is true "Donno why they are backtracking now" EA my bets are all on EA they gotten enough BS lately with lootboxes killing off Visceral Games, Westwood studios etc etc etc i think they are afraid of another media outlet which this caused unintentionally but its what happend they are in a situation now that either they make the feminists angry and leave it as it was * of the homosexual community by not adding more homosexual (which also happened) or make the loyal fans angry by changing some of it. they did a blizzard here by choosing to make the the fans angry which is the wrong move never make the fans angry

also when you think about it if all they done is to upp graphics and texture resolution but ignore those HORRIBLE animations specially the facial animations its going to look even worse then in original game.

Found 4 words that are censured on forums yey way to go 2021!

  • @Naala LOL Good point, and the more they pander the deeper into the hole they dig themselves by offending people from all sides.

I was thinking that the best outcome would be first and foremost keep the game as it was, I would want them to keep the camera angles and not censor, and would be perfectly game for them to add in all the homosexual *-* as its additional content as it would please more of the community (I heard some romance options around here got scrubbed?). They could have also restored the rest of the DLC, animations, new ending etc, lots of stuff. Better adding than removing right. But here we are -_-
  • @Sky2k5 yeah totally i personally dont care about homosexuality im not against it but to me its avoidable "(I heard some romance options around here got scrubbed?) " YES yeard that to also there Jack was supposed to be Pansexual dont know what that is and dont care but ppl are angry that she isnt...

yeah either leaving it as it was and make all aspects of it better or add stuff, the moment they even thought about removing some things that's where it went wrong.
  • @Naala omg I laughed so hard when I read that "Pansexual dont know what that is and dont care" you made my day LOL.

Yeah just add stuff and we dont have to open that Pandora's box but its there for whoever wants to open it 😉

  • @Sky2k5Hahaha well happy to make you're day man i mean im to old for this * all these new genders and sexualities people made up just makes my head hurt
im all for people not being happy with what they got and * but man its getting way to confusing however we did get a little sidetracked ;S

  • @Naala LMFAO I'm in stitches!!! Yeah getting back on track I sincerely hope EA/Bioware listen to us everyone could argue for pages and pages but ultimately the point is that there are a huge group of people (not conspiracy theory people) who ain't cool with the censorship and hope they can consider it, if not just for the sake of the community also the sales and investment in future ME titles. ME is one of my all time favorites and I want more of what we had back in the original trilogy. More Shepard and Liara in my case hahaha.

  • @Sky2k5I'm in stitches!!!" :O that can not be comfortable! *see pic*

Me to there are more ppl not wanting these changes then those who do developers and publishers think they know what gamers want but they dont.

These three games touched so many hearts all over the world tehy might be old and controls are clunky AI not so great but we love them Mass Effect could be a perfect TV show or movie the story is so great the universe is so big they got so much lore to take from OMG Bioware pitch THAT to netflix or HBO!

  • @Naala What is that? Looks like Diablo 3 but I never saw the monster lol.

Mass Effect TV series would kick * as a Sci Fi show, recommend that any day over a Netflix Zelda, or Netflix Diablo etc

Anyway signing off for the day will probably pop up again tomorrow haha.

    Cheers
  • Sad thing to me is, the people Bioware is trying to cater to, ie the twitterotsi don't even play video games, or if they do it is all mobile games.  Major businesses need to remember that about 90% of twitter posts are created by less than 10% of the twitter users which is about 5-6 million people....most don't play video games for fun.

Basically a twitter outrage explosion is just a minor minority of the US population getting traction because it is easier for news sites to monitor twitter than to actually go out and do work and find a story.

Bioware/EA needs to listen to its customers and forget twitter ragers and let their customers needs and wants rule.

@mcsupersport God i wish i could pin this post!100% accurate but i would say its not only about US population sure they are the most vocal this is an issue world wide.

if they should read any criticism it should be here not twatter!
but i am sure there are EA/Bioware employees keeping an eye here and on youtube as well at least i would hope so
