Re: invalid license reason code missing dll d3dx9_42.dll

Make sure the game and Origin are closed.

Go to your ">drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\__Installer\directx\redist" folder and run the "DXSETUP.exe"

reboot > test.

If that don't solve the problem, please report back.

Still not working. The DirectX instalation failed.

What error message do you receive during the DirectX instalation?

Well, I'll try to answer when I'm back at home. But I remember the main DirectX message is "failed to instal".
