Re: Reckoning Armor with KoA full version?

I bought the full version of Kingdoms of Amalur through steam, and never played the demo. I got the Mass Effect 3 armor in Kingdoms of Amalur, but I do not have the KoA armor in Mass Effect. Do I actually need to play the KoA demo, even though I bought the full game, in order to see the Reckoning armor in ME3?

  • Technically yes you needed to play the demo to unlock the Recokoning Armor. From the wiki:

    Acquisition

The armor is available after downloading and playing the demo for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. You will need to link your EA/BioWare account to your game to register the promotions.

PS3 owners will need to download and play the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo before playing Mass Effect 3 for the Reckoner Knight Armor to unlock.

  • My question is HOW can I play the KoA demo now?

I already have the full game and when I try to launch demo it just starts the full steam version of the game. So what can I do now?????

You can get the items by editing your save file using Gibbed's ME3 save editor. Here are the instructions. (Edit: This is for vanilla, not the Legendary Edition.)

    - Open the save editor, load your save, go to the raw tab.

    - Go to "plot" -> "bool variables" (click the '...' next to it)

    - Find value 20989 and set it to true.

    - Save your edited file and load it up in the game.

    Hey @danielecb,

This thread is quite old and is being locked here to avoid further necroposting.

Feel free to start up a new thread if you're still running into any issues afterwards, thanks!
