I am sure SAM is super busy with telling me that I'm in a good area for mining, that I should return to a safe location, that there is an unidentified element in the area and what the current radiation levels are, but he keeps telling me I have new email and I don't. Does SAM get some kind of kick back every time I log onto the mail server? (That's a joke). I love SAM. I do. I wish he was a possible love interest. Still, don't tell me I've got to check my email when I don't. It's annoying.

The new email notification thing is really annoying. I put it right up there with the constant mining zone notifications. The silly part is, if there is something that SAM should tell me.. like I have AVP outstanding, he will often neglect that information in favor of telling me for the third time in 2 minutes that I have email.. when I actually don't. There should at the very least.. be a global timer on how often SAM can repeat the same notification. I'm so sick of hearing 'Pathfinder, you have new email at your terminal' right after I just finished.. CHECKING MY EMAIL!

The last patch caused this, others are saying that when you enter the bridge and meeting/research room he'll say that. Me it's been happening when ever I pass through a door on the tempest. Hopefully the next patch will fix this.

While I'm glad to see it's not just me that's annoyed with SAM telling me I have new email, when clearly I don't ...I think SAM is lonely and hopes that I'll talk to him when I check it in my quarters or mebbe send him some email. Still this notification when I log into the game and I'm by the consoles for R&D/APEX etc is getting really really annoying

SAM keeps telling me I have Email...but I don't.

Maybe it is a leftover quirk from the VI hacker mission. I keep waiting to hear the Microsoft 'ding' and SAM's crash to bluescreen.

SAM as Cortana is not a big stretch of the imagination.

I have the same issue where Sam is constantly telling me I have new emails everytime I return to the tempest.. or kallo is asking to speak with me or even lexi saying she needs to chat in med bay but when I check all they never have anything new to say.. I've finished everything that is not bugged so this is alittle annoying to say the least. Hopefully it's patched or something at some stage in the near future

Between this email thing - and my controller vibrating everytime I use a ladder (with the scan icon coming up, but nothing to scan), I've lost all patience for boarding the Tempest.

I think Knights virus messed with SAMs programming.

Thankfully on the field, he still works, mostly. A little too well at times if you ask some.

Hopefully this error in SAMs programming will be corrected at some point. He just thinks you are more popular than you actually are.

I think SAM figured out a way to get a cut of the revenue from the advertising bars on the email server - and is trying to generate hits.
