[Steam] Game Crashes After10-15 Seconds

After not playing since September, I came back to the game only to find LE3 not starting at all. Launcher starts fine, LE1 and 2 start and work perfectly fine but whenever I start LE3 it starts loading and then crashes after 10-15 seconds. There are no errors at all, it just boots me back to the launcher. Tried verifying the files through Steam, made sure all my drivers are up to date, tried a clean boot, tried to do a clean install of my GPU drivers, overlays are disabled, I even reinstalled the game and still the same thing happens. This is the only game that's giving me issues and it's annoying cause I've never encountered a bug like this one. I tried to google any possible solutions and then realized pretty much all of them are from 2021 and even tried some fixes from those posts but, nothing. Weird.

Hope you guys can help me with it.

    • Make surre Steam and EA app are closed.
    • Go to your "C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save" folder.
    • Move the "ME3" folder to your desktop. (The folder must be gone from the original path!)
    • Disable the internet connection of your PC.
    • Test the game.

  • One thing I see in your DxDiag file is errors at the end for Mass Effect 3 crashes for Visual C++ dll issues.  You may try to go into the installer file of your MELegendary folder, look for vc file, open to find the vc2015 folder, then redist folder, in which SHOULD be two .exe redist x64 and x86.  Try using both and see if it will not reinstall your C++ files and fix your issue.

It worked! Thank you so much dude! Can't believe I spent so much time trying to look for and fix a bug that turned out to be a corrupt save lol
