[Steam] Mass Effect Andromeda Missing Online Access Error

    @MSA_Yaga Changes were made to the account that should allow you to get online. Before you launch the game, I would perform the following steps to ensure the game updates for you.

    Delete EA License Files:

    • Make sure the EA app is closed.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
    • Enable View Hidden Files and Folders
    • Delete all files in the "License" folder.

    Please clear your temp files:

    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
    • Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
    • Your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
    • (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

    Clear cache, and repair or reinstall the game

    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
    • EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
    • EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)

@mcsupersport @EA_Shepard I will try again, but since I bought the game from Steam, can this be fixed? He told me he couldn't fix it because I bought it from Steam. Thanks for your consideration.

I don't work for EA so I can't guarantee 100%, BUT since the game runs through EA APP, which is linked to Steam, they SHOULD be able to remove it from your EA account and add it back without issue....but I don't know all the background details so.....I am hoping EA Shepard can look into this, or suggest something else if EA Help can't do anything.  I do know that the fix is usually to remove the game from account and add it back....

    Now I talked to ea help and they told me that I had to get an ea play membership again in order to play the full version game online that I bought from steam. They couldn't remove the game from my EA account and add it.

        "Delete EA License File + Clear your temp file" did not work when I did these. The problem in the game ended yesterday when I just did "EA App's Cache". I don't know why, but thank you.
