[Steam] ME2 Horizon Mission Praetorian Boss "Invincibility" Issue

Question

At the end of the mission there is a praetorian boss that spawns that normally regenerates its barrier periodically as it takes damage, however during my campaign the boss is deciding to keep regenerating its barrier roughly every 8-15 seconds no matter how much damage I do to it. I am currently playing on Insanity difficulty and the overall tankiness of the boss makes it impossible to do any damage and progress the mission. Any insight on what is actually happening?

The Praetorian regenerate his biotic barrier after any Death Choir attack, so if you are to close to him and he is using this attack often the regeneration is normal.

If not, try to repair the game.
