Triple monitor set up

Hey everyone first post here so take it easy on the rookie

Recently got a a matching pair of monitors to go with my main one (Samsung PX2370) as well as a new EVGA GTX 780 TI. Looking forward to triple monitor gaming, I immediately went to Crysis 3 and was able to ramp up the resolution accordingly in game. I then tried Mass Effect 3, but am unable to get the resolution beyond 1920x1080. Nvidia Surround settings are all working fine, and niether Geforce Experience or the Nvidia control panel allow me to force the resolution to 5760x1080. All of my drivers are up to date, Origin and Mass Effect 3 are up to date, and I have seen ME3 played in 5760x1080 so I know it's possible. What am I missing here?

Thanks!

I have tried the Widescreen Fixer as well as Flawless Widescreen, niether have worked as expected. Flawless did nothing, while Widescreen Fixer did produce a wide screen look on my middle monitor. I played around with the settings but no avail. I will be posting on WSGF's forums as well, and see if someone here or there are able to figure my problem out.

    Hi,

I have triple monitors working with wide screen fixer!  The trick is you have to set your resolution in the mass effect 3 launcher to 5760x1080 for example if you're running 3 1920x1080 monitors.  Then when you launch ME3 you must WAIT, before enabling it, till the BIOWARE and EA animation has begun.  I always do it in the middle of the animation.  If everything works correctly the center ME3 opening screen will look exactly the same as it does when only 1 screen is turned on instead of 3, just with more to see of earth and burning falling rocks on each side monitor/screen.   Hope this helps

Reviving an old thread as OP is having the EXACT problem I am having and I have enlessly searched without a solution.

The widescreen fixer and other mods are more for HUD fixes.  Everyone I have heard from including the guys at widescreen gaming forums state the game natively supports widescreen resolutions but the menu and HUD is poor.

My game is being maxed at a 1900 x 1200 solution both by the in-game menu and by the configuration utility in the game folder.

My nvidia surround is setup and working fine in all applications except ME3.

  • I was able to find my solution.  While in the configuration utility if set at 16:10 screen size your resolution choices are limited.  (I am 16:10)

By choosing the 16:9 choice a whole range of widescreen resolutions became available inlcuding the correct 5760x1200 (which strangely is based on a 16:10 screen size but anyway) Glad to have it working!

I played ME3 over a year ago and remembered triple monitors working great.

I reinstalled it and now it is extreme close up.  Its on all three monitors but super close up like OP.  Can't seem to find the 16:10 aspect in configuration but 16:9 does show up.

Also tried the WSG fixer and doesn't seem to be working for me, unless I have it set up wrong.

Sorry for old post being dug up but I cannot seem to get this to work, mass effect 3 refuses to launch with eyefinity enabled it consistently crashes to desktop???

    @FatalError63

I know that there were problems regarding the position of the HUD and the resolution with eyefinity, but in general the Game should run.

Personally using an NVIDIA card and having a two Monitor setup, I have simply no knowledge about eyefinity.

I would suggest to search help at a widescreen forum where people with more experience in this matter can help you.  here is a link to the eyefinity thread at wsgf.org.
