uncompletable quests

ME1 PS4 1.02

Having trouble completing some quests, especially in Zhu's Hope. Finished the storyline there and went back to do the assignment quests.

I initially only had the fuel cells one, but picked up the water restoration and varren meat quests while in the tunnels.

Going back to the colony, the '!' markers appear on map and mini map, but there's no one there to complete the quests? Yes, I did kill a few colonists during the mission.

I am also unable to complete UNC: Missing Survey Team, as the squad dialogue i believe is needed to trigger completion is not happening.

tbh, not sure if these are bugs or if I've done something gameplay-wise to mess it up

    @jeezulf Gameplay wise, not a bug. There are specific people you need to talk with to complete those side missions. So if said person is expired. Then you won't be able to complete it.

    As far as the UNC Missing Survey Team. You just need to keep exploring to find the planet it will trigger for.

    @jeezulf I was just lucky doing it the right way the first time. It's always been trial and error with the games. So in my replay if I messed up befotere. I do it another way in hopes to get it right.
