Unlocked AI Hacking Trophy, however, the bonus talent does not show up when creating a new career

See subject line. I unlocked the AI Hacking Trophy, but the subsequent bonus talent does not show up when creating a new career. This is on the PS3 version of the game that came with the Mass Effect Trilogy. I was originally advised to wait 24 hours and try again, however, this did not work.

I was advised to submit this by Support Agent Vikas - Case ID: 12935710

EDIT: I went and created another career and unlocked Assault Rifles. I went to create a new career and the Assault Rifle bonus talent does show, however, the AI Hacking bonus talent does not. The only thing I can summize I did differently is I never saved after earning the AI Hacking trophy and just quit. Is there anyway to get this fixed? Getting super frustrated. I am getting to the point where I am considering returning my copy of Mass Effect Trilogy to Amazon because EA Customer Support is giving me the run around.

2nd EDIT: Adding screenshots below.

3rd EDIT: Version: PS3 Physical Disc copy Mass Effect 1 that comes with Mass Effect Trilogy.

ISSUE RESOLVED!!! (Only posting this in case some other poor sod gets stuck in my position later on down the line)

How to fix: Delete "Game Progress/Settings" in the Saved Data Utility. Delete "Mass Effect Game Data" from inside Data Utility. Restart PS3. Reinstall "Mass Effect Game Data" when prompted when starting Mass Effect. Create a new career. Redo all lost trophys and SAVE THE GAME before quitting. I think my problem was in not saving the game after finishing the AI Hacking trophy. This ended up creating a problem in the "Game Progress/Settings" file I would assume.

I would like to add that EA Customer Service was absolutely worthless in fixing this issue. The only thing they did was dodge questions, avoid helping, and telling me outright false information. I would file a complaint, however, they have made their website so confusing the navigate and the people in EA Chat talk like robots so I might just end up making myself vomit instead. Will look into sending an email to the board of directors about their poor customer service. Not much else I can think off. Thanks for nothing EA!
