Why Does Mass Effect want to download a 4GB patch

Hi I wonder if anybody can help me? Bioware social cant help at all Last time mass effect 3 only download a 30MB patch now it wants 4GB patch without even a changlog or reason can anybody help exp...

If i were you, i would download any patches for games. Patches are basically fixes for most games. By not downloading a patch, you might run into mis-match version errors when playing online with others. Also, most patches contain critical fixes for games. There is even a website dedicated to just having patches for games. I use it quite often for older games.
