Why does my mineral survey not let me enter the letters in?

@GhAhCrosby Hey, what game is this for? What Mineral Survey are we referring to? I don't recall being able to enter any letters when surveying into this game.

Thanks for responding. It is Mass Effect Legendary Edition.  I can't enter the letters in quick enough.  Any help would  be greatly appreciated!

@GhAhCrosby Ahh okay, so this is one of those where you have to try different things. Are you using any mods on the game by chance?

No, I'm not using any mods. I am playing on Xbox One. Is there any codes that work? Thank you for any help!

@GhAhCrosby So there aren't any codes you can enter other than what the game shows? If you don't do it in order of what is on screen, you have to keep trying. I went through the settings and you can change the difficulty of the game, but you cannot change the speed of which these letters pop up within the game.

I play on Xbox. When you say mineral survey, exactly what do you mean?

I have just found the Palladium rock and it brings me to the place where I can enter the letters. It goes so fast that I can't enter all the letters, in fact I only get to 2 or 3 letters.   It is on the planet Eletania.  Xbox One, no mods.   Thank you for any help,

It is pretty much hitting the controller keys are you see them colour up.

Are you saying it's a particular deposit that's causing the issue, or all rocks?

I *think* there is more Palladium on the various planets than you need, there is spare to be harvested, the objective should be completable.

[EDIT] That's confirmed, there are 31 heavy metal sites on the various planets, you need to harvest 20.

I headed to the Attican Beta Cluster and to Eletania to take a look.

I've already harvested that one in my playthrough, so at least when I did it, it worked.

Sadly, it's an older game and doesn't have an accessibility setting to slow button press speed, which some modern games do have.

Hi, thanks for responding. There is a place that I come too that I have to enter the letter code. It just comes to survey failed.  It doesn't let me enter the whole code,  I have tried it several times and it only lets me enter 3 letters at the most.  I have tried going back to the Citadel and that hasn't worked.  Is there an issue with EA Play? That's where I d/l it?
