The severe lack of depth and polish with the story and the complete lack of depth of your companions. I feel as if it was almost an afterthought even though that is the main reason the series was so popular. Leaves replay value extremely low.

100% Agreed!
Very weak visual-storytelling. No mood, music, tension, intriguing situations, body language animation, emotion, cinematic camera angles, something that shakes the player and engages it into the story. Kinda mellow, flat. Doesn't leave much interest in replaying it.
Bioware did such a great job on previous ME's, not sure what determined them to skip these key features for ME:A.
there was never any true tension or urgency in mass effect series the only way you get true urgency if you add an actual timed mode and lets face it most people would hate that personally i liked andromeda and other then a few minor things I didn't find a lot to be disappointed about then again colonization is never going to be a exciting as saving the galaxy but those are the true heroes of the final frontier the explorers the pioneers that pave the way forward for future generations my only real disappointment is that suvi's romance was a bit cheap you get more value out of dating peebee which is sad not that i mind asari but suvi felt a bit to plutonic :D
don't get me wrong but in a future where two girls can have kids and get married .. kissing suvi once felt a bit tame :D heck and i though peebee had commitment issues .. .
I have seen today a music video from "Miracle of Sound" ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSfoxYTlCPFfglckBLrjpsA ) and it's the feeling I had AFTER Andromeda. I was sooo in love with Shepard and I miss "my" Shepard soooo mutch that I really had a lot of problems to accept a "new one", a "Ryder".

I know: After "three times ME with Shepard" it's NOT the same like "one time with Ryder". But it's hart to "beat the feeling": Ryder and Andromeda are nice, but I miss Shepard, I miss the crew, the Normandy and the MilkyWay. ☹️
Thats of course NOT the fault of Bioware, just my personal problem. But this was the BIGGEST dissapointment after Androemda: It's NOT Shepard, not my old crew and not the Normandy. Hehehe sorry very illogical, I know. ☹️
