I've passed along your post to the team, but I just wanted to clarify the biggest issue relating to the input mapping. For the PC version of MySims: Cozy Bundle we only officially support Xbox and PlayStation controllers, not Switch. So any issues encountered related to non Xbox or PlayStation branded peripherals would not be considered a bug at this time.
My only advise here is that since you created a custom input translation on Steam, does the default setting work instead?

I tried default controller settings and that didn't work either. Once again, it works find in MySims Kingdom but not MySims 1, so there is definitely an issue with the game.
