All-Drive and Migrating Host!

This is how it happens to me. I turn on my xbox one and when it signs into the ea servers it sits there spinning looking for a game to join. after five minutes it loads and i am in the garage with no friends. when i go to all drive settings it is set to public and my nat settings are open. i want to look for a new game and again takes 5 minutes and loads the garage with no friends. I HAVE had some success it gives my to other players or more but that ahs been less than 5 times total. i have had an instance where it loaded other players and i was lagging so bad my pursuit techs would not work but it would deplete as if i did use them with out issue. I have tried to find answers to this and have yet had the chance.

i made the same post 2 or 3 days ago. exact same spot in the game.. cop side, going for 75K, contacted support, they said they understood it was aggravating, and had me clear my system cache and reset the clock.. as if that **bleep** will help. bunch of clowns pushed out a game WAY TOO EARLY before they could finish quality control.

quit testing in a fkn closed circuit system, and atleast immitate a REAL server setup before releasing a game to the public. im returning my copy in the morning. 

I think I've said this before in other similar posts but there's no harm in re-posting I guess. The multiplayer lobby system works in that way that one player is always the host (has a crown next to his name). This means that you are relying on this persons connection which in most cases makes everyone lag skip around the map and making any form of interaction mostly impossible.

Whenever that person either leaves the game or loses the connection to internet, all players in the lobby will be "disconnected" and taken to the host migration screen where someone else is selected as a new host. Not only, as you're experiencing, will this "pause" the event you're in but there's also a big chance that the new host had the same, got frustrated and decides to leave the game as well. Since there's no multiplayer component anyway (more or less impossible to get people to join you) I strongly would suggest just to turn it off completely by going into the menu, select all drive and change to single player instead of public. This will rid the constant disconnecting and you will also not have anyone else possibly interfering with your own progression in terms of single player.

Only time I would suggest a public lobby is if you're just looking for busting other people as a cop, other than that it's completely useless unless you have a few friends online and you get into a private lobby to do some "real" multiplayer racing.

I bought this game a week ago and I get this message and problem every 10 minutes or so which makes the game literally unplayable. It happens during all types races and during free roaming and each time it either freezes the game completely (all I see is a broken screen with no controls and I cannot do anything, even Alt+F4) or it sometimes manages to migrate a host.

I hope EA will able to make a refund 'cause I'm simply mad.

If I knew such an issue existed I wouldn't have bought the game ever.
