Need for Speed Heat: Profile Reset Issue

I am literally annoyed with this thing, I bought nfs heat (for PC) through steam and started playing with my friend. Whenever I quit the game and open it some other time, the profile gets reset completely, wiping all my progress.


The same happened today as well, this is the third time it has happened. Any fix for this??????
