Awful FPS during the night

I don't know what the hell is going on but since the last update my game runs even worse. I keep not getting first place on High Heat races because the fps fluctuate like crazy and I will eventually crash my car because the frame rate gets so low that the input lag caused by it makes the car turn later than usual.. I can't even get anywhere close to 60fps and I have the recommended GPU. Both CPU and GPU keep going up to 100% usage. It's the third or fourth time that I completely give up and end up rage quiting the game because it's just not enjoyable at all. This is one of the worst need for speed games I've ever played in terms of optimization and it's a shame because the game itself is freaking awesome. One advice, instead on focusing on adding and changing stuff content wise, fix the goddamn performance because that way you'll have more people playing your game, therefore you'll win even more money because then you'll have more players using your content. Yes, we all know these days money is more important than delivering a solid product. Gladly we still have Playground Games. At least Forza Horizon 4 runs wonderfully on my PC at Extreme settings 60fps without a single drop. Maybe you could learn something with those guys. I know programming isn't easy but EA is a rich company for sure so there are no excuses.
