I cannot connect or see my PS3 friends under autologs screen "friends" section in NFS Rivals

I cannot connect or see my PS3 friends under autologs screen "friends" section in NFS Rivals! I have many ppl wanting to play w/ me but we cannot join games. I deleted them from my PSN friend list and readded them. I went to online help chat and they said they fixed it but it's still not fixed. They told me to post it in a forum so the "experts can look into it"

    @Rottweiler13

Can you see them online on the PSN menu friends list when you are looking for them ?

How many friends do you have currently in your friend list?

Make sure your PS3 is up to date.

Are you playing with a Sub Account or a Master Account? The Master Account holder can restrict Sub Accounts' participation in the PlayStation Network.

Yes I can see them online on my PSN friends menu. I only have 3 friends in the rivals game listed that I can join out of 8 ppl I've met in the game and "friended" them. But we can never play together. And yes it up to date, as a possible solution, I uninstalled NFS Rivals and reinstalled it and re downloaded the patches. Same thing....

Alright, maybe it's just the AllDrive settings then, you have probably checked but I just want to make sure the settings are right.

Also I would like to ask you to try again by switching faction if possible.

So, when you launch the game it automatically tries to join your friends who use the same AllDrive Setting as you are. You can also join or invite a specific friend from the Friends Menu.

In the AllDrive Settings menu set matchmaking to Friends only or Public. (The maximum amount of players allowed in an AllDrive session is six.)

You can press START to view your map and see who is currently playing in your game. They will be indicated with their gaming tag and an image (if applicable).

Yes, I've been through all that and sent messages back and forth to make sure we weren't in a "private game" setting or public and so on... All our all drive settings are the same, I just spoke with 2 ppl about it. And I'm not sure by what you mean by "switching factions", if you mean go to cop career then back to racer and vice versa, I've done that many, many times.

    Still NO solution!!
  • There's been an on going problem with the friend's list for NFL Rivals and no solution/patch or even a hot fix. I'd suggest you reset the servers for all of the consoles/pic to see if that fixes the problem. if not. brainstorm a solution EA instead of letting the customers suffer. If anyone actually has a known fix, drop it in the comments

@DriftHeart  I have merged your message in this discussion thread.

First, in the AllDrive Settings menu set matchmaking to Friends only or Public. Try removing the player from your friend list and invite him again while you are in game.

There seems to be some missing association between the origin friends list and the PSN one.
My friends have a seperate name in each category, but if they are not in the PSN list I cannot join or add them.
The suggested friends list doesn't work either plus there is no way to retract a friend request yet. Are the devs even listening to you guys? This problem is with the DBA not the gamers.
EA, Dice, Origins, etc need to get together to fix this issue before they lose fans and money
