NFSNL is becoming more and more of a gambling app than a racing game. Using the loading docks to get a 'chance' of bagging a SE BP is neither challenging nor fun... in fact it's just annoying. For kicks I took a stab at buying some premium crates (5 to be precise) and clearly it wasn't a good casino day for me... nudda, nothing, naught, zero, zip BNR34 BP's in that little spin that cost 450 gold. Next stab was at buying a whole bunch of classic crates in batches of 5s (about $200k worth)... same outcome. Not a single Skyline BP!
Would I try and max out my BNR34 on crate gambles, given I have 40 BPs to go??... not unless I get a lobotomy.
C'mon guys, be a bit more subtle about trying to drain us of cash. Players who have paid their dues in hard cash (more than the cost of NFS for PlayStation), surely they've earned the privilege of being able to 'earn' BP's through game play?
I've got a few more BP's to get for my Koenigsegg and Pagani then the game is pretty much over for me...
- Tournament store is empty (Maxed out)
- Millions of VP I can't use
- Underground is at a dead end
- Rep maxed out
- Car series is a once off wonder (what a wasted resource that could be re-purposed for variety and options to acquire parts, materials and BP's)
- It would take a year to get the remaining SE BP's from the occasional 2 days of Envelope replays (5 SE cars with plenty of BP's to go... 2 years probably)
- All the grinding is getting a bit much now
- Paying $millions to max out a part is tedious
- At the end of the day, you're playing against yourself, so there isn't even any gratification seeing your name climb up a leader-board. The most engaging element of the game from a 'multiplayer' point of view, is this forum.
A few more days left of my 50 gold card and I think that's it for me... been fun, but it's time to move on.
Happy racing team.
