Lost Game Progress due hacker!

Hey guys,

It seems my brother-in-law was hacked, someone accessed his game and he lost al his progress in the game, cars.... we tried to restore it with no success, we're tried to restore the game save from "Cloud" too, but there is no option in the game settings to do so.

is there anyway to restore it? Like a Rollback? Anyone knows if theres a local save that we can use? This issue happened this morning.

Please help us!

    Hello,

    If the Journey has been reset in the game options there is no way to restore it unfortunately.

    I strongly recommend you contact our support team to assist with securing your account.

    This happened to me too. Need confirmation by EA Admin.

    Hello,

    How To Enable Cloud Storage https://www.origin.com/en-ie/how-to/cloud-storage

    1.At first you should try these steps.😉

    Updating your Origin client...to the latest Beta version /top left Origin menu, Application Settings - General.


    Make sure you are the administrator, run the setup file Origin with Admin rights  http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2

    Now go in Origin / My Games tab right click on Need For Speed and chose "View Game Details". There, next to "Details" there's a tab that says "Cloud Storage". There's an option "Restore Save".- pressed it .

    Then right clicking on game icon, select Repair Game and Check for Update and i think you should be fine.

     

    2.Or you can try another steps😉

    -Go to: C \ User's \ Your Username \ Documents\ Need For Speed


    -make a copy of the folder "Save" ( just in case you need to keep this data)


    -right click on the folder "Save"


    -select "Restore Previous Versions"


    Maybe your old saves will be there🤔

    NOTE If the steps above don't work,then you need to follow what said @Damoderp to create an incident using the Talk to a Game Advisor link on the left, and a Game Advisor will assist you.
