My Need for Speed Payback is Unplayable (Xbox One)
I'm not sure if this is happening to anyone but it doesn't seem like it since no one has made a post about it. But anyway here goes.
On November 7th I started to play the game as soon as I could and it was playing just fine, got through the prologue and part of the story on a mission that I haven't been able to finish because of the following. An hour or so later after having the game and it doesn't even work anymore the game won't launch unless I do it a couple times and when it does I start the campaign... and then I get sent back to the dashboard. When the campaign actually starts, though, I get back to the mission I left off on where Jessica has to bring these robbers somewhere (can't remember). And that's when the game just goes insane.
I start driving and I couldn't even hear the sound of the car but I could somehow hear the tires when I drift and can hear the popping sounds coming from the exhaust pipes.
The HUD doesn't even load until like a good 2 minutes later after starting the mission.
When I get to the a certain part of the mission while the cops are chasing me. They start getting all twitchy and the floor disappears at a certain point too making me unable to complete the mission.
Parts of the world just start to disappear on me making me unable to drive any farther.
And this is all happening around the same time. I've ran out of reasons as to why this could be happening and like I said no one else is posting problems similar to these so I'm assuming it's a problem only with me. If anyone could be of assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. these are the things that I tried. Hard resetting my Xbox, unplugging it and plugging it back in, uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, restarted the game numerous times.
UPDATE: As of 11/11/201, my game won't even launch at all now.
