Need For Speed games production ?

Hello EA Team and ladies and Gents,I am a little lost, what happened to the production of Need for speed games? The last one I played was Need for speed heat before my Ps4 died and it seems that EA have just stopped making the games, but I don't know why. does anyone know why?I grew up playing them from the very first ones on PlayStation 1 all the way to Need Heat and I would love to play a new one, a new Need for speed: Most wanted or Hot pursuit would be amazing.&nbsp;

But how long since a good NFS game was released? For me NFS 2015 was the last good one. NFSU2 begging for a remaster or a game on this nature. Start from the bottom with a Honda Civic/ Peugeot 106 and work your way up with full customisation.
Hopfully any new titles won't have microtransations like the recent flop of Skate.

ea and criterion is focusing on battlefield 6 right now that why no need for speed is being made
