I had the same problem and not only NFS Heat or any games on Origin (EA) but other games on other platforms too.
BTW The problem was solved by using the STEAM controller to fix it. (even it shouldn't be this way but why not right?)
Simply add the launcher should be somewhere like this:
"G:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\Origin.exe"
"G:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Engine\Binaries\Win64\EpicGamesLauncher.exe"
(my cases are Epic and Origin) to your STEAM library and run it before the games you wanna play.
