Need for Speed Rivals - Black screen only with full screen

On startup Need for Speed Rivals is giving me a black screen only whilst full screened. Alt tabbing has it in a windowed screen where things begin to work properly, but any attempt to return to full ...

Definitely my first and last bought need for speed, I cant play and they dont give a **bleep** to fix that black screen issue.
