Need for Speed Rivals - Black screen only with full screen

On startup Need for Speed Rivals is giving me a black screen only whilst full screened. Alt tabbing has it in a windowed screen where things begin to work properly, but any attempt to return to full ...

Same here, ATI 6870, DELL U2711 (2560x1440, via DVI dual link), and latest ATI beta drivers.

PLEASE GIVE US A PATCH!!!!!!! Playing the game in window mode is a pain!!!
