Need for Speed Rivals - Black screen only with full screen

On startup Need for Speed Rivals is giving me a black screen only whilst full screened. Alt tabbing has it in a windowed screen where things begin to work properly, but any attempt to return to full ...

In my case, all very sad. 4 friends bought the game once to play together, the two have a problem with the game, and it does not play.
  None in windowed mode, not so good.
About Tridef, it is a good idea. The situation was similar to watching video format "MKV" through "TotalMedia Theatre 5"  2d in the format. Decided conversion format BDMV.

I just realized I could get a refund in the 24hour window.  It's a shame, it seems like EA games pretty much require a return period because they are so broken.  What is going on over there.
