- Unfortunately looking on the wiki page for Ghost, they seem to be the new developers for the Need For Speed franchise. This isn't gonna be a one off. It's a decent game but the enjoyment is greatly reduced having to use a gamepad when you have an expensive steering wheel which is unuseable. RIP Need For Speed.
- I can only assume they rushed it for the next gen release and now they have the gold master version they have moved onto something else. It was probably more important financially for them to get the game on the street when the new consoles came out. There are so few games out there people would buy whatever there is available.
Really... BUT WHY??? "at its core, an arcade game, not a simulator" Its very poor answer, its a horrible stance against to the customers. Who do like this game series and similar racing games, everybody bought a wheel or gamepad.
Why did you do it?

What happened on this one?
I've had em all since 500 mhz processors and 16 mb of video ram.
Things were going pretty well until this PC release of a console game w/out controller support.
Even the console folks need support for their controllers.
We want to like it. Please fix it.
I tried complaining from day one of ps3 launch on their "Need For Speed Rivals" Facebook page. I was only allowed to comment on what the mediator posted. When I tried posting to the page with a direct question, it was blocked. I wrote the mediator a note asking why they would sensor my question, the response was "we didn't sensor you specifically, all page posts are blocked by default". I asked "then why are post that praise your game being allowed to show up? But complaints aren't! That is the definition of censorship!!".
I asked if they were planning of fixing this problem, the mediator was "unaware of a fix being planned or worked on." That was around November 28th.
I was able to get my local gamestop where I bought Rivals to give me a full store credit, not a refund. I was fine with that...because I bought two old need for speed games...and guess what...FULL WHEEL SUPPORT...THE GAMES EVEN RECOGNIZED AND SHOWED ME A PICTURE OF MY WHEEL!!!
Freakin' ridiculous they would ignore, delete or simply forget to add this feature to this game. This board is so full of flaws, bugs and complaints it is very obvious Nobody cared about making a quality product...they simply wanted to maximize profits on console launches and Christmas!
This is a major F. U. to all of us.
