Need for Speed Rivals and Logitech steeringwheel G25 or G27

Wheel Support across all platforms!!! I'm sorry but what is the point of a racing game, even if it is an "arcade racer,"if you cant play with a wheel?! You just feel so disconnected. It is an enjoyable game but it would be much much better with a wheel. I just got done chatting with a customer service rep and like always from EA you never get a straight answer, but this is what he said, directly cut and pasted from the chat.

My first chat early on they told me it was in the works.

Three weeks later they told me the opposite.

Utter silence since then.

We shouldn't be begging EA for something that should have been in the game from the beginning. I'm hoping they'll come to their senses and realize how many customers they have lost and how their reputation is diminishing when they do **bleep** like this. I'm hoping common sense kicks in and they actually listen to their customers for a change. If they don't put wheel support in they've lost another paying customer like so many others. Unbelievable.

This is so dissappointing, I purchased the game not realizing that it didn't support wheels, I mean it doesn't say that you need an Xbox controller, which I don't have because I don't play Xbox anymore and sold the console long ago. I'm not spending an extra $60 for a controller just to play this game, it's not worth it at all. Now I guess I'll just have to get a refund because it doesn't look like they are doing anything about it, playing on the keyboard is just plain pointless, and like I said, just not worth it to buy an Xbox controller. Maybe if it was GT5 for PC or something, but in that case it would support wheels like any true racing game should. This is just a dumb move by EA, I have never gone on a forum to complain about an EA game before, and in general even if a game is terrible I don't even worry about it. But this, I'm really just blown away that they would do this, they shouldn't have even ported it over to PC if they aren't going to at least add support for wheels since a large portion of PC racing game players use wheels...

Might as well just skip the next game in the series unless they add wheel support from the beginning.

After a long wait i purchased this game for my GF that is a huge fan of the franchise (one of the reasons i also bought Logitechs GT-series wheels). I bought NFSR as a christmas present. Huge dissapointment. No steering wheel.. I was shocked. Really? That is so low EA. I am not asking for refund, because she is still playing the game (being polite i think) and every freaking day searching from internet for glimpse of hope of steering wheel support. Half done is not done at all. Shame on you EA for ruining my GF😕 christmas present. Thanks for the good old times tho.

Based on what you just told me, and based on everything that I know, I am never buying a product from EA again, and I'm discouaging everyone that I know never to buy from EA ever again, and I know a lot of people, and I'm going to tell them to spread the word.
