I spoke to the guy who unlocked it on Xbox according to trueachievements.com on 23rd February at 8.51pm. He said:
- He started the game for the first time on 23rd February.
- He does not have an active gold Xbox subscription.
I had a manager this afternoon and I insisted again to have news on this problem which has persisted for 1 month. The person tells me that they have escalated the problem to the "detached" team to resolve the problem and that they have escalated my problem to their own manager to find a solution because they have indeed noticed again that more and more people are asking for a fix for this same problem and that it is starting to take a long time.
There is no need for a Patch since the beginning of the game, the bug was already there, it was enough to simply restart the game servers so that they reset themselves, it effectively blocks the Online mode for a few hours max but not the solo mode, therefore bearable and problem solved in 1 day. Just get started EA!
Even the Sims 4 (2014 release) continues to have updates (Paid) so excuse me for a 2019 game no longer having a corrective patch after 5 years, it's limited and disappointing on your part. It's clear that I will be wary of EA games in the future or even avoid them completely.
