NFS: Rivals not working properly

Hi,

When I try to play NFS: Rivals, it's super laggy when gameplay actually starts (cutscenes run smoothly). It's like everything is moving in slow motion when I try to drive. I have looked up online this same problem, and tried the whole "-GameTime.MaxSimFps 18 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 18+" in the command line ordeal. This makes it run smooth, but also causes gravity to act oddly, with my car flying off the road randomly, then not being able to move after respawning. Is there a fix to this problem, or should I refund this game?

  • I would reccomend putting the command line back to normal then doing the following,

    Repair your game,

    1) Go to My Games in Origin
    2) Right-click the game
    3) Select Repair Install

    To Clean Boot Your PC,

    1) Press Win+R
    2) Type 'msconfig.' in the prompt and hit enter
    3) When Msconfig opens select 'General'
    4) Choose Selective Startup option.
    5) Uncheck 'Load startup items box'
    6) Open the 'Services tab' then select 'Hide all Microsoft services' Option at the bottom of the tab
    7) Press 'Disable All' Button
    8) When prompted restart.

    Then uploading a DXDiag,

    To Gather DXDiag Info,

    1) Press Win+R
    2) In the run box type 'DXDiag' then hit enter
    3) If you have a 64-bit PC click the button 'Run 64-bit DxDiag' (if you have a 32bit PC this option will not be avaliable)
    4)Press 'Save All Information'
    5) To share this file with me upload it to http://hastebin.com/ and share URL

  • Did the clean boot or/and repair succeed?

Your GPU does not meet the minimum requirements for the game and your Memory does not meet the reccomended requirements for the game, this could also be creating the issue, see the table below for a comparison of your specs.
