    Looks like I may have solved my own problem.  It occurred to me that I have had my arcade fight stick plugged into my computer.  Could I have been so stupid, I thought.  So I checked and it was!  I unplugged it and now everything seems to be working again.  Phew...

@the_SLVRFOX this is happening to me as well most of the time when i try steering corners, the car suddendly snap back to the center. i though it was my controlller batery been out of charge, changed and still happening, then got in to a point i was tired of it that i tried playing with my keyboard. still happening soo now im sure when it happens almost 100% is when i press and unpress (click it fully) the aceleration button while steering in a speed that i tested it to trigger this problem is when going in third gear from 50 to 70 km/h some time at higher speed crashing in to walls or going off track by holding any direction to steer and clicking the w or RT (the car from the test was an AUDI R8 performance 19 with 378 performance lv full track mode.) it might be because the car that have a lot of grip and doesn't engage the gas to drift mecanic have this error of snaping back to the center.

Hi, wanted to update this: it appears today's patch has solved my issues.  Been playing the game for about 3 hours now, and all buttons seem to be working properly.

    Hi,

    Problem has cropped up again!  After Friday's update, I played around 10 hours with no issues.  Today, I logged in and it was working fine (I left my computer on overnight).  I rebooted my computer, and when I tried to log back in, all of the button and keyboard problems cropped up again.  I tried all of the solutions I tried before except reinstalling the game.  As suggested by @EA_Atic I tried unplugging all of my input devices; the problem still persisted.

    Something new; now when I load into the game, the car starts up by itself and is automatically revving the engine (accelerator on max all the time).  Again, the way to confirm a choice for me right now is RT + button.

    I hope this info helps you resolve the problem soon.  The game is great!... but only when playable.  Thanks.
