[PC] Randomly freezes and when playing with others

Hello,

I've been playing the game for a couple of days now and so far i'm enjoying it a lot. 

The only problem i've been having is some irregular freezes. Basically what happens is everything freezes, the sound stops and i have to forcibly restart my computer, i can't even alt-tab or open task manager. 

I've noticed that when i get one of these freezes, which happen anywhere from 30-2 hours of playing, and then restart my pc, they seem to happen more frequently (after 5-10 minutes of playing). If i completely shutdown my computer after one of these freezes has occured (so i forcibly restart, then manually restart again) they seem to happen less frequently again.

The freezes also seem to happen everytime i start a race with others: only a few seconds after gaining control over my car, it freezes up.  

I've tried checking my event-log to see if it was something windows-related but didn't find anything other than warnins about my computer not shutting down correctly(cause of the freezes).

I've also tried looking for any log files from NFS itself, but alas i couldn't find any.

I'd like to be able to enjoy the game as it was meant to be played; with other people. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?
