I have two accounts on my local PS4 that has played NFS Heat. Only my main account has PS Plus. But each account should have its own EA Account associated to it.

Thank you for your posts here, the relevant teams are working on this issue currently.
Please note, the following relates specifically to just Error Code 40080000 ->
This workaround includes deleting personas from the console so do not proceed if you do not want to do that.
- Keep only the console persona that has been used to purchase the game (deleting the others) and use that persona to reinstall the game. If you have a physical copy on a disc, it does not matter which persona is used to reinstall the game but any other persona need to be removed before reinstalling the game.

You can't. Just play offline if you must until it is fixed.
If you play offline you'll lose all progress.
You will lose all of your offline progress.
It shouldnt matter if it has ps plus or not they should log in with different credentials

Patch notes are out and sycn error is getting fixed so that’s good but what about what we’ve already lost? Any compensation on that? Like I hope we get at least some money in order to bounce back to where we were at before still very happy abt the fix tho

I just downloaded a 2.6GIG patch on XBox One.
Problem still there, first connect to the EA server I get the 40080000 error.
Then playing online I get the item sync message and selecting yes to upload results in the 40080000 error.
This is ridiculous, good money spent on a product I have not been able to use properly since launch and now it's on sale already.
Congratulations EA, you had the potential to fix this, and make this game great, and its turned into HOT GARBAGE. Updated Xbox one and Patch has NOT fixed Inventory synchronisation issue. Peace out.
I also deleted my save from the Xbox and Cloud since I had not made much progress.
After launching the game again, I get prompted to agree to the terms and conditions again, then select difficulty and then same error when it tries to connect to the EA servers.
Select Play Online again and the same error appears.
The save game seems irrelevant to the problem.

This is ridiculous and beyond disappointing. Almost 2 weeks of waiting for a patch to fix this and it hasn't been fixed in the released patch.
