Re: (PS4)Need for speed heat keeps crashing

@thenardo55 Thats a good workaround if the crashes won't happen anymore. I sure hope EA is gonna fix this in the next few days. I would have hoped for a reply from EA by now, since this issue seems to happen to everyone.

Some people may even bring the game back or sell it already, cause not everyone reads these forums and don't know what is causing this problem.

I know it's weekend. But if you release a game on friday, i surely hope people are around for these kind of problems or at least answering the forums.

  • Exactly. Even just an official acknowledgement that this is an issue would be a step in the right direction, especially considering that pretty much EVERY PS4 player is having the exact same issue.

EA could learn a lot from the likes of Bungie with Destiny 2 as Bungie are VERY quick and very active when identifying and addressing bugs and issues and communicating very frequently with the community on Twitter and on forums. It just seems that here no one actually even expects a response from EA, we are all just hoping we get, well, some kind of response.

I still don't think that EA realize building up that respect and trust with THEIR gaming community by communicating with them with regards to issues such as we are having now goes a long, long way.

@ EA dev's / community managers - pull your heads out of the sand and try communicating with us for once. Please.

    @Ninja-Knickers

Very strange they haven’t said a word even on Twitter when I reported this issue.

I have posted on sub Reddit r/Games in hopes of getting some attention. Hopefully big YouTubers like Angry joe start talking about this issue happening on all platforms.

shame on Ghost Games for not making any statement on this issue. Did they not tested pre-launch or beta version? Because this is not fully optimised.

  • Did exactly like what @Animaster said but did not work took off every customization for body kit just had my itasha livery on finished a race as soon as I start voyage circuit race crash....

  • Exactly. the least EA can do is acknowledge that this is a problem.

But I honestly think even that is asking too much.

Yep, my game crashed again. I could only unplug my PS4pro. Not happy

@TakumiFujiwara54 In some extreme cases you will need to attempt a full race with everything stripped. It will crash. At this point, open the game, load your game, go back to the garage and choose to strip everything again (even though it’s already stripped) and then attempt the race again with everything stripped. If you are able to finish the race, then you can slowly add back those visuals.

I don’t add any wraps/skins at all because of this. I have a nagging feeling that the wraps/skins make it flake out more... so I leave them off altogether — until of course — EA releases that much needed patch.
  • Update: Ok so yesterday I must of easily had around 30+ crashes, probably more but last night I deleted the game from my PS4 Pro system (but kept my save data) and I reinstalled the game by disc with my PS4 offline - THEN once installed I downloaded and applied the 1.02 update and since doing that I've only had 3 crashes in around 10 hours of playing.

This hasn't fully remedied the issue but It's allowing me to actually enjoy playing.

    Hope this helps others!!

  • @theanimaster Doesn't seem like the wrap editor is the cause because played with my starter car 180sx with a sao sinon wrap and it didn't crash even once. As soon as I bought BMW I8 and made my Artoria wrap tried to play the game it crashed. Ea needs to fix this Asap but they don't even see this as problem like seriously if this game had mtx maybe they would care more.
