Should EA and Criterion release a proper Burnout Paradise PC sequel?
Why I think they should release a proper Burnout Paradise PC sequel, because this older game beats NFS Most Wanted 2012 on every level:
- Great support for Force Feedback steering wheels, you just feel the oversteer / understeer. So you can actually RACE!
- Great frame rate, no problems of a bad port to PC (although EA fixed this after about 3 months after the game release)
- Way nicer looking high-speed camera slow-motion crashes in full-screen.
- Good immersion factor for single player, due to the efforts of racing are rewarded with cars. Instead of just giving them away.
- Every car has a unique different kind of handling. Something that is not noticable in NFS Most Wanted 2012.
So that there will be a game to restore the EA/Criterion reputation they've crushed with this latest Need For Speed, if you make a racing game. Make sure you can actually race in the game with a steering wheel. It says on the back of the box that a steering wheel is supported, well it's NOT. At least not for actually racing, can't even release the weel to go straight.
