Still no visual damage remove option...

In the 3 latest games, you guys at Ghost have delivered us visual customization,which is something i dreamed about for years BUT with that, you added visual damage.

Ever since 2015 released,i have been annoyed by constant need to repair my cars in order to enjoy them....

There is nothing worse than customizing a nice car, putting a great wrap... only to be surprised by a damaged hood, folded like a tuna can cover....

I get it, realizam, cars in real life go through that on the daily bases but can they be different in NFS ???

You have added visual damage removal for Snapshot Pro but not when actually driving...come on !

Even tho the damage the car takes is reduced, and not like in 2015 where literally anything that touches the car damages it, but i still dont like it, specially at night...

Don`t get me started with night races...

Why is it so hard to implement such a simple fix ???

  • @Luka0101998 I whould like to see that in the next update too, i remember in nfs 2015 when you drive through a gas station the car was fixed from scratches dirt and damage in Heat its nothing like that, you drive through a gas station and the car is only fixed from damage scratches are still there that need to be fixed.
  • I was just about to post about this. I hate starting races or trying to take pics with black scratches all over my car that I can't get rid of besides going back to the garage. Even going through gas stations doesnt get rid of the black scratches . Going into the photo mode theres a "bodywork damage" option. Turning that off does absolutely nothing.

    I found out some sort of a workaround. I'm sure plenty have figured this out but I'm quite new to the game.  So just gona share.  When you go to any race it will ask if you wana switch cars just accept this and pic your exact same car in the menu.  It will bring it undamaged.

  • Bummer really? I did try it only during the day.  I've only been playing for 2 days. Figured you would have the same options. Thanks for clarifying.

    @SuperchargedK20

    It did not work for me when I switched to the same car and drive around for a little, the dirt and scratches still show up again on the car.

    Also, they need to have an option to turn OFF the exterior damage permanently. Doesn't matter if you enter a race, exploring free-roaming around the map, drive at daytime or drive around nighttime. They just need to look at the example of GT Sport and Forza Horizon 4. I can drive straight into a wall in Horizon 4 and the car still looks brand new. Love it!

  • @DreamMachines There gona show up again once you start driving around. Especially if you hit the grass or go offroad. When you initially switch cars are the scratches gone? I do this trick prior to a race so when you get that little intro at the beginning you have a clean car like everyone else and yours isnt the only one at the racing line, filled with scratches. Also a good trick if your snapping pics right next to a race and can just clean her up.
  • It will probably come in that big patch we're all waiting for. You know? When the games dead and they finally add pvp and suggestions in.
