(Switch) Impossible to add EA friends

I am trying to add EA friends via EA ID in the autolog menu, but there are UI issues preventing this.

When I write the ID, the output text gets stuck on Caps Lock, but only if I write the game appendix first ("MW-", "BP-" etc). If I don't write the appendix, the Caps Lock works normally. Then when I press Confirm, the text field gets emptied and the keyboard stays on, waiting for input. I need to press Confirm again to continue, then the game asks if I want to add the friend. If I accept, it says it can't find the EA ID even if the ID is correct.

I also tried to add a firend with EA ID without writing anything. In that case the Confirm button correctly works and the game prompts me that I need to write an ID to add a friend, but then the UI becomes totally unresponsive- the game doesn't freeze, but I can't proceed anymore. I can also notice another popup in the background.

    It could be tricky for anyone playing the game on Nintendo Switch because some of your Nintendo Switch friends probably doesn't have the game to show that it can't find the players you are looking for to friend up with on your Nintendo Switch because they probably don't have an EA account, or are you trying to friend up with your friends irl that play it on Xbox, PS4 or PC because if it is the option you want, it could be that you have cross-platform play off so it would only let you play with the players on the same platform as you, if you do have cross-platform play on then I wouldn't know a solution to fixing this

    This happened to me, the way I did it was typing all in lower case. But it's true that you cannot see what you have typed, this should be corrected.

    Well there is a new patch update rolled out right now to multiple bugs that are now fixed including all UI issues in the game so that should resolve it, if it doesn't then I won't have a clue to fixing this!
