@ShadoWawker Cops are easy to escape from lol you can out run them with high speed if you know the areas well. Just remember if they lose sight of you they will lose you, so weave and zig zag streets. Honestly if this game gets any easier I will leave this game lmao.
@Force-Fed1979 Yea try outrunning them with “high speed” using a car that you unlock very early in the game which is what I’m doing
You are talking about knowing areas well and having high level cars which takes a long time so screw the new players right
There should not be a flat difficulty setting for the cops regardless of what point you’re at. It needs to start off easier in order to account for the fact that the player is using low powered cars
Then the difficulty can adjust depending on the power level of the car that is being driven
And I should absolutely be able to get away from the cops just by driving without having to know the areas well because that’s how the game should be, accessible and fair even to people who just started playing
You even admitted yourself you had a ton of trouble with cops until you learned the areas which means this problem applied to you too. And I’m telling you the best solution is for the developer to fix the problem, not for the player to suffer until he’s learned all the areas really well and has fast supercars

- @ShadoWawker dude, we were all new players at some point. Do you think I started the game at lvl 50? Get real. I didnt go on a forum and cry about not being able to lose cops! I learned to do it! You said your no stranger to racing games like this and such, it really making me wonder. Im a casual and have no issues since learning how to do it no matter what lvl my car is. Learn to play.
- @Force-Fed1979 Clearly you don't even understand the point I'm trying to make. The point is, it has nothing to do with driving skill. It's all about time played, how familiar you are with the areas and how good your cars are. That is not skill related, so "learning to play" is not your solution. Playing more and simply leveling up is your solution, and it's not a good one. I know how to play, trust me. Driving in this game is not difficult and like i said fps games require way better reflexes precision and reaction time so in those areas I am fully adept I promise you.
This is not a "get good" situation where I am simply performing poorly and if I improve my performance then I will suddenly be able to outrun the cops. It is literally impossible to outrun the cops with the knowledge I have and the cars I posses WITHOUT cheesing them using certain jump spots, which is not ok.
I agree that using these spots make it relatively easy, but it's also not fun at all to do so. It makes the game boring and takes away from the excitement of the chase because I am using the exact same methods of getting away every time. So I want them to address the actual issue- @ShadoWawker but thats the whole point of it...... to gradually get better cars thus making it easier (to some degree) to escape and such. Which is all part of the progression design. and there are other ways to lose cops other than jumps and out running in faster cars, Im no gonna bother telling you how seeing you clearly do not want to learn how to lose cops. So many of us do not have problems with this. Im sorry this is a "get good" situation.
You might want to 'read' his comment again instead of attacking him and telling him to 'learn to play'. I'd also like to point out that I never liked the 'learn to play' statement.
The cops Shouldn't be as difficult as they are and players Should be able to outrun the cops without knowing the area, and a high powered car Should leave the cops when it's close to top speed.
The cops need a top speed limit, that is how to fix the problem. I did the very same thing when I modded NFS Most Wanted 2005; I adjusted the top speed limit of not only the cops, but also the AI racers so that rubber-banding could no longer help the AI.
- @ZeroMcDol sorry, I just dont understand why this needs to be made easier. Its not hard! the cops are all part of the risk, the higher the heat the harder the cops. yeah they are overly brutal, but thats the game! and like I said in a previous comment, you can lose cops just fine with low lvl cars etc. You all sound like people who download completed game saves to play the game. No work no reward.
